Under the Societies Ordinance, the Kian Wa Club, Penang, has been dissolved the Old Frees' Association, Penang, and the Balik Pulau Co-operative Society are exempted from registration, the Leang Wah Hng Club, Singapore, has been duly registered, while the Tanglin Youngsters Athletic Club is called upon to furnish proof of its existence. Under the Societies Ordinance, the following notifications are gazetted:- Malacca Volunteer Corps Headquarters is exempted from registration, the India-Ceylon Association Penang ceases to exist,  the Singapore Indian Lighter Owners Association has to furnish proof of its existence and the Penang Chinese Siou Wah Association, the United Indian Association, Penang and the Seng Chiow Dramatic Association, Malacca, have been registered.
